Wedding Venues – Burley Manor – The New Forest

Hannah & Edward got married at a beautiful little church close to their home in Bournemouth. St James’ Church is where Hannah’s grandparents are buried so it was very sentimental to them and lovely that they could visit the grave after the ceremony to lay flowers.

The reception was held at Burley Manor in The New Forest. They arrived at the venue in a horse and carriage to be greeted by all their guests awaiting their arrival.

Their wedding theme was rustic and vintage, the wedding breakfast was held on long banquet tables in a lovely newly refurbished barn at the back of the manor. It was beautiful!

After the speeches I snuck of with the happy couple into The New Forest. This gave them some lovely time to reflect on the day so far and for me to get some lovely relaxed shots of the newly married couple. We visited a couple of their favourite spots amongst the wild horses.

The New Forest is a truly beautiful location.

The evening guests arrived and the barn was transformed for the party! As it was such a beautiful day guests were very content mulling around outside in the gardens playing lawn games and enjoying the day. The party went on until the early hours with everybody dancing and having fun.

It was a fantastic wedding, congratulations Mr & Mrs Doherty!
